Product Description Block

The Product Description block displays the description of a Gravity Forms product. This block is used within Product Template blocks to show product details.

Adding a Product Description Block

1. Add a Product Query block first
2. Inside the Product Template, click the “+” button
3. Search for “Product Description” or find it in the “E-Commerce” category
4. Click to insert the block

Note: This block only works within Product Template blocks and displays the product description from the current product context.

Text Alignment

• Left: Align description to the left
• Center: Center-align description
• Right: Align description to the right

Styling Options

• Colors: Text color, background color, link color
• Typography: Font size, font family, font weight, line height, letter spacing, text transform, text decoration
• Spacing: Padding
• Borders: Border radius, border color, border width, border style

Best Practices

1. Clear Display: Make product descriptions easy to read
2. Appropriate Length: Product descriptions should be concise for email
3. Consistent Styling: Match styling with other product information blocks

Troubleshooting

Description Not Displaying

• Verify the block is inside a Product Template block
• Check that the product has a description set in Gravity Forms
• Ensure product data is available from the form entry

Description Too Long

• Product descriptions come from Gravity Forms product settings
• Consider truncating long descriptions if needed
• Use appropriate typography settings for readability
