List Item Block

The List Item block is used within a List block to create individual items in ordered (numbered) or unordered (bulleted) lists. You cannot add a List Item block directly; it must be added inside a List block.

Adding List Items

  1. Add aย List blockย first
  2. Click inside the List block
  3. Start typing to create a list item
  4. Press Enter to create a new list item

Formatting List Items

You can format text within list items:

  • Bold: Make text bold
  • Italic: Italicize text
  • Link: Add hyperlinks
  • Inline Code: Display code or technical terms

Nested Lists

Create sub-lists within list items:

  1. Place cursor at the end of a list item
  2. Press Enter to create a new item
  3. Press Tab to indent and create a nested list
  4. Press Shift+Tab to outdent

Styling Options

  • Colors: Text color, background color, link color
  • Typography: Font size, font family, font weight, line height, letter spacing, text transform, text decoration
  • Spacing: Padding

Best Practices

  1. Clear Items: Write clear, concise list items
  2. Consistent Formatting: Keep list item formatting consistent
  3. Nested Lists: Use nested lists sparingly for better email client compatibility

Troubleshooting

See theย List Block documentationย for troubleshooting tips, as list item issues are typically related to the parent List block.
