Default Notification Block

The Notification block displays the default notification content from the integration being used (e.g., Gravity Forms default notification). This is useful when you want to include the standard notification message alongside your custom email template.

Adding a Default Notification Block

  1. While editing your email template, click theย “+”ย button to add a new block
  2. Search forย “Default Notification”ย or find it in theย “Text”ย category
  3. Click to insert the block

How It Works

The Default Notification block automatically displays the default notification content from your active integration:

  • Gravity Forms: Shows the default Gravity Forms notification message
  • WordPress: Shows WordPress default notification content
  • Other Integrations: Displays default content from other configured integrations

Text Alignment

Control how the notification text is aligned:

  • Left: Align text to the left (default)
  • Center: Center-align text
  • Right: Align text to the right

  • Text Color: Set the color of notification text
  • Background Color: Add a background color to the notification
  • Heading Color: Set color for headings within the notification
  • Link Color: Customize link colors within the notification

Best Practices

  1. Customization: Style the notification to match your email template design
  2. Placement: Place notification content where it makes sense in your email flow
  3. Consistent Styling: Match notification styling with the rest of your template
  4. Testing: Test how default notifications appear in your template

Troubleshooting

Notification Not Displaying

  • Verify that an integration is active and configured
  • Check that the integration provides default notification content
  • Ensure the template is being used in the correct context

Content Issues

  • Default notification content is controlled by the integration
  • You cannot edit the notification content directly (it’s from the integration)
  • Style the block to match your template design
